Dear Kuwait-Cartucho team,
While there is a new season of great cycling battles lying ahead in 2017, some epic riders are still without a contract for the 2017 season. Riders with lots of fans, followers and with a great marketing value. Please give the next cyclist a chance to shine in your team this year.
Francisco Mancebo:
One of the most experienced cyclists in the peloton who achieved many victories in the harder and more notorious stage races over the course of many years. He is a former Spanish national road race champion, finished fourth in the Tour the France and two times third in the Vuelta a Espana. In 2016 he became National mountain bike marathon champion for the fourth time in his career and also won a stage at the tour of Alberta, which proves he still has a lot to give to cycling and his fans.
With his experience as an all-rounder and his very aggressive race style he draws a lot of camera and sponsor attention. He is not only an animator of the races but also someone who knows how to train and live for his craftsmanship. Having ridden for teams in Europe, America and the Middle East, his expertise could be of great value to the younger riders in a team and give them the extra boost they need to train harder, live like a true sportsman and built up a career like his.
Still winning races at the age of 40 is something not many athletes are capable of. And the current National mountain bike marathon champion should be riding in the harder races at a higher level, to measure himself with the strongest riders. Currently riding for the Skydive Dubai pro cycling team and not getting paid properly due to internal problems within the team, this guy needs a new chance to ride the tougher races in which he belongs and in which cycling fans can admire this well-known attacking cyclist. He has the experience of riding in Asia and the Middle-East, has ridden for a Dubai based team and has the Spanish nationality. He seems to be the perfect fit for the Kuwait-Cartucho team.
Kind regards and a lot of success next season, a big cycling fan from Belgium.
